HH’s new living wall planting at the Academy of Science’s Moss Room Restaurant
Saturday, July 3, 2010
Habitat Horticulture recently planted a living wall for the Moss Room restaurant in the California Academy of Sciences. Over 1,000 plants including mostly ferns, but also Maranta spp, were used to create this lush living wall. This unique living wall system is equipped with an overhead misting system which provides a dramatic effect emulating a lush rainforest environment.
