Sustainable Sushi Restaurant’s Future Living Column…
HH is proposing a living architectural component in effort to provide guests of an up and coming sustainable sushi restaurant in San Francisco with an unique experience that draws from the same principles underpinning the restaurant concept — sustainability in design, and the harmony of a traditional Japanese aesthetic with the local bounty of California. Viewed upon entry, as well as all other vantages of the restaurant, will be a four-sided vertical garden exhibiting the careful arrangement and interplay of water, stone and vegetation. This will be executed in a fashion that borrows from traditional Japanese Zen garden principles while incorporating plants that are native to the local region.
