Artist Statement

This residential entry living wall introduces a playful burst of color while responding to shifting light conditions throughout the day. A resilient plant palette was selected to tolerate both sun and shade, with layered textures from Dianella and Hebe complemented by pops of purple bloom and deep green foliage. The vertical garden extends upward into a living roof, seamlessly screening utilitarian areas while creating a cohesive, welcoming arrival experience.
