Artist Statement

Designed as a lush arrival moment, this living wall creates a strong biophilic transition from exterior to interior. The planting palette mirrors the look and feel of the outdoor wall while shifting to species that tolerate lower light and require minimal maintenance indoors. Warm tones from Heuchera and Plectranthus—including Plectranthus ‘Troy’s Gold’ with its chartreuse foliage and subtle purple undertones—add depth and contrast, complementing the building’s red architectural elements. The result is a welcoming, cohesive green statement that carries through the entire entry experience.
